Price : Now and then, but not often, something special happens when I make a painting. And this happened on the 9th of April 2010. Coming to the studio in the morning | turned on the radio, and it was on all day in the background as I worked. When I was finished with the painting and looked at my work, I immediately saw that it had some special colours in a combination I didn’t use much in those days. It was a painting about war. The radio program I had listened to was mostly about the German invasion of Norway on that day 70 years earlier. I did not actively decide to do a war picture, but that was what it turned out to be! I felt like a medium that day.
