The painting was mainly made by a thin cover of paint, with some spots of acrylic ink added. The painting was made without a sketch, it is as a free fabulating picture. Included in the work are also some experiments with the use of acrylic ink. A surface with such a thin layer of paint was well suited for that. I have used this title before, “Wenn Jemand eine Reise tut, so kann er was Verzählen” is a quote from the poem “Urians Reise um die Welt”, made by the German poet Matthias Claudius (1740-1815). And the painting is my telling… Translation from the German: When someone travels, he has something to tell.
