Price : One thought has followed me through my whole life: do we take care of this globe of ours? It only takes for all of us to stretch out our arm to the person next to us and agree upon a common behaviour that doesn’t destroy but sustains life on the planet, including of course all the living creatures and the plants and trees. Human beings must stop thinking they are the only important creatures. Our life is really dependent on all life on earth. We are a part of it all. So simple, but obviously so difficult! My painting is touching this thought and that our globe from space looks like a “pale blue spot” as Carl Sagan said . The painting was given to Eleanor Steinholtz in 2010. I hung it on her wall in her sitting room. After she died in 2012, Ruth and I took the painting back to our home in London.
